Machine Gun Kelly
Inspired by the pink and green color scheme of my favorite artist, Jonah Ballard, I decided to paint the king of pink, MGK.
The image is a throwback to press release for MGK’s album, “Tickets to my Downfall”. In these songs, he contrasts the duality of angsty punk rock with introspective lyrics, pouring out his heart. This theme is captured in his use of warm, fun-loving pink, juxtaposed to his intimidating exterior.
